Internet Plagiarism: A Teacher's Combat Guide

JILL SUAREZ
Bossier Parish Community College

ABSTRACT

'Internet Plagiarism: A Teacher's Combat Guide' offers a brief but comprehensive overview of the dilemma educators across the country must now face. In order to effectively combat this growing problem, teachers are provided a succinct definition of plagiarism and clear strategies for detection. Finally, the writer explores specific techniques to curtail academic dishonesty. Although many consider the Internet a Pandora's box for plagiarism, a little forethought on an instructor's part can, at the very least, make students think twice.
