
She has publications appearing in Early Childhood Elementary Journal, Journal of Research and Development in Education, Journal of School Leadership, and Teaching Children Mathematics. She has given presentations at several national, regional, and local conferences including NCTM, AMTE, NCSM, AERA, and FCTM. She is active in numerous professional organizations and has served as a member of NCTM’s remote sites task force and is currently serving on NCTM’s virtual mathematics academy review panel.
Her research interests include mathematics teacher education, the use of technology for learning and teaching mathematics, standards-based mathematics teaching, and the mathematics teaching and learning of at-risk children.
She is also a former mathematics teacher with Miami-Dade County Public School in Miami, Florida.
